Online Dating Give A Chance To Find A Partner In Life

Do you have trouble meeting people? Do you feel uncomfortable making the first move? Are you having trouble trying to find new places to meet people? Are you looking for someone that looks deeper into your personality than making judgments based on your appearance?

These were all reasons that I decided to give online singles dating a try. I was a busy college student that worked full time and I just didn't have the time to try to find my future mate in social situations. I tried dating a few coworkers with no success. Being a computer person, I thought that it was time to give online dating a try.

I signed up with Yahoo Personals. I created my profile of all my hobbies, what I liked and disliked, and what was important to me in finding my future husband. I didn't feel comfortable posting a picture of myself, so I didn't post a picture. I figured that, if and when I found someone that I was interested in, we could exchange pictures. This was new to me, and I wanted to remain a bit anonymous, which is why I didn't post a picture.

Originally I found that the guys that were responding seemed nice enough, but most of them either wanted to meet right away, or seemed to want to have conversations revolving around sex. I knew that I was looking for something more. A couple of men responded and seemed to be deeper than just talking about sex. One of them seemed very potential, but then turned out to be married! But a few months into my post, I met him. I met my future husband.

I didn't know he was my future husband, I just knew that we had so much in common that it was scary. I almost felt like I was talking to myself because we had so much in common. We kept talking for a few months, and then decided it was time to talk on the phone. We exchanged pictures of each other. We called each other, and our affection grew. Nothing changed by having phone conversations. We had so much in common, we knew that we had to meet. Since we were a few hours apart in distance, it took us awhile to get our schedules to mesh together before we were able to meet in person.
